When I was done I gave him a little sample and he said “I think I changed my mine, this is really good”. So I guess I will be making this again. I will be taking this batch over to a friends house for Thanksgiving dinner for them.

Lisa, That was my thought, too. Make it a savory cranberry sauce, maybe a chutney? I love homemade cranberry sauce. One year I had grown some Scotch Bonnet peppers. i added some chopped up SB pepper to the cranberry sauce. Best cranberry sauce I ever made. Yes, it was hot – too hot for most people.

I love the combination of jellied cranberries with cream cheese but I’m also partial to heat — might have to add some to the cranberries. YUM!
