I have a friend who is about to have gastric bypass surgery and wanted to find a treat she could have while recovering that would avoid the extra sugar, since diet restrictions include high protein but restrict sugar. This seems like a good replacement for ice cream and dessert. I wanted to help her in her discovery of tasty (and easy) recipes that she can still enjoy while meeting her diet guidelines.

Homemade frozen yogurt is the best! I also keep bananas in the freezer for easy use in recipes like this.

YES!!!! These are my favorite flavors for my morning smoothie, so I knew I’d just love them in my frozen yogurt. It makes me feel like summer is finally here.
