No-Bake 4-Ingredient Peanut Butter Energy Bites are a quick, simple, make ahead snack for on the go!
I love a recipe that I can whip up in a couple of minutes with ingredients that I always have on hand! Â This is one of those recipes. Â These tasty little energy balls only have 4 ingredients: Â oats, peanut butter, maple syrup, and chocolate chips.
They could’t be easier to make. Â Just stir all the ingredients together, chill for about 30 minutes, then pat into balls.
I’ve always been a huge fan of the peanut butter and chocolate flavor combo! Â However, I’m sure any nut butter, like almond butter, would be great in this recipe.

I didn’t have pure maple syrup, so I just used sugar-free pancake syrup, and it worked awesome! Thank you for this recipe!

I toasted the oats on the stove with some cinnamon, added honey instead of maple syrup and it was incredible. Everyone LOVED them.
These are delicious! It is a wonderful snack and very easy to make. Thank you.
I followed the recipe as directed but I also added coconut, delicious!
Can we eat oats raw? Are we supposed to cook or bake them first?
There’s no reason you need to cook oats first, totally fine to eat them raw
Has anyone tried making this without any syrup or honey? I am trying to avoid added sweetness if I can.
I make these all the time without syrup or honey, or even the chocolate chips. I simply do peanut butter, oatmeal and raisins. …You can pretty much mix whatever you like together – just be certain to keep them cold until you are ready to eat.
I made them and cut the recipe in 1/2. I ran out of maple syrup so I added honey to the maple syrup and it was delicious. Still made 10 good size snacks with half the recipe and a little less than 100 cal a snack.
So quick an easy! If you need a little extra pick me up I also add Nestle espresso chips with my chocolate chips — PURE GOLD! I also recommend heating your peanut butter in the microwave for about 15 seconds for easier mixing!
This is delicious great recipe, thanks for sharing

I’m allergic to peanuts and tree nuts. I use Sunbutter (sunflower seed butter) instead.

Quick and easy to make. I used syrup and honey. Also used Lily’s semi sweet baking chips. They’re sweetened with stevia so less sugar. I was able to roll mine immediately.
