This easy cucumber salad recipe has cucumbers, tomatoes, and onions in a sweet and tangy vinegar based marinade.

How To Make Cucumber Salad

- Add white vinegar and warm water to a large bowl.
- Add sugar, salt, and pepper.
- Whisk until the sugar dissolves.
- Add sliced cucumber, chopped tomatoes, and sliced red onion.
- Stir to coat the veggies in the marinade.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least one hour.
- Strain the liquid from the veggies. Or, serve with a slotted spoon.
How To Store
Store covered in the refrigerator for up to three days. However, this dish is best when served the same day it’s made.

- ⅓ cup white vinegar
- 1/3 cup warm water
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp ground black pepper
- 2 English cucumbers peeled and thinly sliced
- 3 small tomatoes chopped
- 1/4 red onion thinly sliced
Instructions
- In a large bowl, add the vinegar, water, sugar, salt, and pepper. Whisk until the sugar is dissolved.
- Add the cucumber, tomatoes, and onion to the bowl. Stir until the vegetables are well coated in the marinade.
- Cover and chill in the refrigerator for at least one hour.
- Strain the liquid. Or, serve with a slotted spoon.
